Look how schoolchildren are enjoying their visit to SOS Galgos in Barcelona. An education centre and shelter run by Anna and her team and which GIN is very pleased to support and help.
Last week, the children paid a visit to the Centre to learn about the galgos and animal welfare. Many of these youngsters had never seen a galgo before or knew of their plight.
They had lots of fun seeing all the rescued galgos at the shelter, doing crosswords, puzzles, reading to the galgos, learning how the galgos are looked after when rescued, what their needs are and some pretended to be a vet with a stethoscope!!

Anna, Sara and team used GIN’s educational resources to help with the classes. Check out the photos and videos below.
These youngsters could one day be policy makers and have animal welfare in their hands, so it is VITAL they are taught empathy now.

will, one day, be policy makers and have animal welfare in their hands, so it is VITAL they are taught empathy now.

Thank You to Anna, Sara and team for a fun and educational day.
